O-RING

O-rings are mechanical sealing elements commonly used to ensure tightness between two surfaces in contact. They are composed of a torus-shaped (or donut-shaped) ring made from various materials such as rubber, silicone, Viton, EPDM or polyurethane.
These seals are used in a variety of industrial applications, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, chemical processing equipment, food production machinery, medical equipment, measuring instruments, engines, and transmissions.
The materials used to manufacture O-rings are chosen based on the specific requirements of the application, such as temperature, pressure, chemicals, and wear resistance.
